“Electronic Commerce” still is one of the most important terms around when it comes to earning money on the internet. But there’s so much more to it besides installing the latest and configure it until it fits your requirements. We’re in an era that transforms the idea of “buying something online”: paying with your mobile phone is not uncommon anymore, you stumble upon your next outfit on Instagram – without ever browsing any catalogue -, and you can order a pizza delivery right from inside the metro on your way home.
March’s chapter of coding berlin will concentrate on these new ways of doing online business, their frameworks, patterns and software solutions and how we as developers can approach “Nexgen Commerce” with modern tools.
We’re currently looking for code-centric talks on:
– Headless /API first commerce
– Alternative frontends
– Continuous deployment of shopping software
– The future of payments
– Out-of-the-box systems vs. frameworks vs. greenfield development
– ETL pipelines
– Complex order state machines
– Intelligent product recommendations
– SaaS checkout solutions
